Mission Statement

The mission of the Commercial Point Community Men’s Club is to support both financially and fiscally organizations and activities in Commercial Point and Scioto Township, Ohio area that is beneficial and good for the well-being of the community.

It is the goal of the Commercial Point Community Men’s Club to own, maintain, and operate their 18 acres of property with a decorative block structure Community Building consisting of 4160 square feet of usable space. This structure is for various community activities and is used for meeting purposes for numerous organizations at no charge, as listed below. This property houses a 24’ x 60’ opened-sided shelter house and a 40’ x 60’ enclosed pole building for storage. Also on this property are four completed baseball/softball fields for community use.

Objectives and Purpose

The purpose or purposes for which the organization is formed are:

To support the community activities and to provide services to the residents in Scioto Township, Pickaway County, Ohio, as follows

Providing facilities at no charge for local civic organizations, such as the Village of Commercial Point Council, 4H clubs, Township civic groups, other clubs and organizations, and the Pickaway County Board of Elections, all benefit the area residents.
Sponsor local youth baseball ranging from T-Ball to Pony Leagues, including baseball fields.
Host and sponsor the annual four-day Commercial Point Homecoming as a member of the Ohio Festivals Association.
Host the annual Scioto Township Fireman’s Association two-day go-kart street race with the World Karting Association.
Host the annual “Treat with Santa” for local children.
Provide support and assistance to families in need, as requested.
Work with the Commercial Point Area Support Group to support the deployed soldiers and their families of the 1-137th Aviation Battalion, Ohio Army National Guard.
