Mission Statement

The Commercial Point Community Men's Club Foundation is dedicated to enhancing well-being of the Commercial Point and Scioto Township, Ohio area through financial and support for local organizations and activities. Our mission is to own, maintain, and operate an -acre property featuring a versatile 4,160 square foot Community Building, which serves as a hub for various community events and meetings at no cost to local organizations. Additionally, our facility a 24’ x 60’ open-sided shelter, a 40’ x 60’ enclosed building for storage, and four well-maintained baseball and softball fields for community use. Together, we strive to create a vibrant and supportive environment that fosters community engagement and growth.

Objectives & Purpose

 

The purpose or purposes for which the organization is formed are:

 

To support the community activities and to provide services to the residents in Scioto Township, Pickaway County, Ohio, as follows

• Providing facilities at no charge for local civic organizations, such as the Village of Commercial Point Council, 4H clubs, Township civic groups, other clubs and organizations, and the Pickaway County Board of Elections, all benefit the area residents.

• Sponsor local youth baseball ranging from T-Ball to Pony Leagues, including baseball fields.

• Host and sponsor the annual four-day Commercial Point Homecoming as a member of the Ohio Festivals Association.

• Host the annual Scioto Township Fireman’s Association two-day go-kart street race with the World Karting Association.

• Host the annual “Treat with Santa” for local children.

• Provide support and assistance to families in need, as requested.

• Work with the Commercial Point Area Support Group to support the deployed soldiers and their families of the 1-137th Aviation Battalion, Ohio Army National Guard.
